The 72nd Indonesian Independence Day Commemoration

All students and teachers had a ceremony of Indonesian Independence Day on Thursday, August 17, 2017. Mrs. Ita, as a ceremony inspector, gave a speech about history of Indonesia and the struggling of Indonesian people to reach their national independence from colonizers. The Paskibra (Flag Hoisting Troop) also called as “Pasukan Garuda” of SD Semesta did a good job. They hoisted the Indonesian flag smoothly and solemnly.

There were several team-building games to cheer that day, for example Marbles and Rubber estafette, and National anthem choir competition. The prize was so special like tropical fruits and free stationaries coupons.
