SMP-SMA Semesta organised a graduation ceremony for the students of the 2023–2024 academic year, held at the PO Hotel on Sunday, June 4, 2023. The event was attended by parents, students from grades 9 and 12, school partners, and several local officials, including Mr. Sunarto, S.Pd., M.Pd., Head of the Branch of Region 1, Department of Education and Culture of Central Java Province; Dr. Bambang Pramusinto, S.H., S.IP., M.Si., Acting Head of the Department of Education of Semarang City; and Mr. Erwan Rachmat, S.Pd., M.Pd., Head of the Coaching Division of Junior High Schools, Department of Education of Semarang City.

During this graduation ceremony, the outstanding female students of SMP-SMA Semesta were awarded for their achievements. These awards were given as a form of appreciation for the students’ hard work and as motivation for other students to strive for excellence in their respective fields. Not only in academics, but awards were also given to female students who demonstrated skills in the arts and sports. By recognizing these students, SMP-SMA Semesta not only emphasizes the importance of academic achievements but also values the diverse talents and interests of the students who have made positive contributions to the school.

• 5 Medals in the National Science Olympiad 2022
• 3 Medals in the Madrasah Science Competition (KSM) 2022
• International silver medalist in astronomy in 2022, representing Indonesia in Georgia
• Gold and silver medals in the International Project Olympiad in Vilnius, Lithuania
• 6 medals in the ISPO 2023 competition
• 1st place in the essay category at OSEBI 2023

And the most recent achievements in May 2023:

• 24 students from Semesta School advanced to the Provincial Science Olympiad (OSP) in Central Java.
• Representing Indonesia in the IFLC competition in Germany in 2023
• 1st place in the Friendship Management Basketball 2023
• 2nd place in the Semarang City Softball Tournament 2023

Awarding the outstanding female students during the graduation ceremony is a proud moment witnessed by the parents of the graduates. These award recipients serve as role models for their classmates and other young generations. They demonstrate that hard work, commitment, and determination will lead to impressive results.

As a favored school in Central Java, according to Iskandar Mulia, Semesta School not only equips students with academic and non-academic training but also provides mental and character guidance. Iskandar Mulia also mentioned that Semesta School opens scholarship opportunities every year. Dzaky Rafiansyah (silver medalist in IOAA 2022 in Georgia) is one example of a scholarship recipient at SMP-SMA Semesta. “The scholarship program aims to provide opportunities for students with talents in academic fields (National Science Olympiad), sports, singing, poetry reading, and memorization of the Quran to study at Semesta School,” he said.

Through this graduation ceremony, SMP-SMA Semesta sends a strong message that achievements are not the ultimate goal but rather a stepping stone towards a new chapter in life. The awarded female students are expected to continue developing their potential and become influential future leaders in various fields.
