Semesta Bilingual Boarding School

Semesta School routinely organizes social assistance activities every year. This year, Semesta organized the Semesta Charity Grand Event in February 2024. The essence of the Semesta Charity Grand Event from Semesta School is to share with orphans and underprivileged children in Semarang and its surrounding areas.

As one of the best international schools in Semarang, to strengthen the character education of its students, particularly in terms of empathy towards others, Semesta conducted a collection of social assistance donation packages. This year, the total number of packages collected is 747, with a value of more than Rp. 205,425,000. These packages were donated by parents of students, staff, teachers, students, and Semesta school alumni. The collected packages were distributed to around 17 orphanages.

Semesta School is a prestigious educational institution in Semarang, consisting of levels from PG (Preschool)-TK (Kindergarten)-SD (Elementary School)-SMP (Junior High School)-SMA (Senior High School). On Saturday, February 17, 2024, Semesta invited representatives from 116 orphanages to attend an event at Semesta School’s Gunungpati campus. During this activity, the orphanage children received gift packages and witnessed artistic performances by Semesta School students live. The event was attended by Mr. Tegoch Hadi Noegroho, SH, Head of the People’s Welfare Bureau of the Central Java Provincial Secretariat as a representative of the Acting Governor of Central Java, Dr. Siswanto, Head of the Education Department Branch for Region 1 of Central Java Province, and Mrs. Puspita Rini, S.H., Head of the Social Empowerment Division of the Semarang City Social Service.

Mr. Tegoch Hadi Noegroho, SH, as the Head of the People’s Welfare Bureau of the Central Java Provincial Secretariat and a representative of the Acting Governor of Central Java, delivered a speech: “As a school that has successfully demonstrated its excellence, Semesta School must continue to have social sensitivity and concern. This is important to help improve the welfare of the community. Keep developing this activity so that it can be an example for other educational institutions.”

As one of the outstanding schools in Semarang, Semesta School is committed to contributing to education and social development in Indonesia and particularly in Central Java. Recently, Semesta School has also opened a scholarship program for entry into Semesta Bilingual School’s SMP (Junior High School) and SMA (Senior High School). The scholarship application deadline is until February 20, 2024. Scholarship applications can be submitted through the Semesta School website at https://semesta.sch.id/. Scholarships worth more than 500 million rupiahs will be awarded to 4 winners who pass the selection process.
