The excitement of August 17th, 2024 at Semesta BBS Semarang Middle School, Semarang

Semesta School, a renowned educational institution in Semarang, celebrated Indonesia’s independence on August 17 with a series of engaging events. The day commenced with ceremonial activities involving teachers, students, parents, and veterans. The flag ceremony was further enhanced by remarkable performances by middle and high school students and culminated in announcements and the acknowledgment of students’ achievements in the 2023-2024 academic year. Witnessing the significant number of outstanding students recognized, which accounted for almost half of all middle and high school students, parents in attendance were proud to see their children join the ranks of exceptional students.

Following the flag-raising ceremony, the event proceeded with a tumpeng cutting ceremony and breakfast among parents and teachers. Meanwhile, the students eagerly joined in various competitions on August 17. Not to be outdone, parents and teachers also took part in a range of activities, adding to the excitement.

The annual celebration on August 17 has become a cherished tradition at Semesta school.
