Isra' Mi'raj is one of the significant events in Islamic history, commemorating the night journey of Prophet Muhammad SAW from Masjidil Haram to Masjidil Aqsa (Isra') and his ascension to the heavens (Mi'raj) to receive revelation from Allah SWT. On this occasion, PG-KG Semesta also celebrated this important day for Muslims, tailored to the students' grade levels. The Isra' Mi'raj commemoration for Playgroup Semesta took place on January 21, 2025, while the commemoration for Kindergarten Semesta was held on January 23, 2025. The purpose of this activity was to introduce students to the history of Islam from an early age, teach values of faith, and cultivate love for Prophet Muhammad SAW.
The Isra' Mi'raj commemoration was held by the students of Playgroup Semesta on January 21, 2025. Wearing Muslim attire as the dress code for the celebration of this important Muslim occasion, the event took place at the Semesta Hall in a joyful atmosphere. There were two main activities in the Isra' Mi'raj commemoration for Playgroup Semesta: storytelling and a nasheed performance by the students.
The storytelling session was performed by Kak Eka, a storyteller from Kampung Dongeng, who was warmly welcomed by the students. The Islamic children's story presented by Kak Eka, using hand puppets as storytelling companions, captured the attention of the Playgroup Semesta students.
On January 23, 2025, the Isra' Mi'raj commemoration continued with the Kindergarten students of Semesta. The main activities during this celebration were quite similar to those of the Playgroup Semesta students. The event included a storytelling session and a nasheed performance competition, each according to the class of the Kindergarten students. The storytelling session was enlivened by Kak Sabil, a renowned young storyteller from Kampung Dongeng.
Pada tanggal 23 Januari 2025, peringatan Isra’ Mi’raj dilanjutkan oleh siswa Kindergarten Semesta. Kegiatan inti yang dilakukan pada peringatan hari besar umat muslim ini tidak jauh berbeda dengan siswa Playgroup Semesta, Terdapat kegiatan story telling dan perlombaan penampilan nasyid sesuai kelas masing-masing siswa Kindergarten. Story telling dimeriahkan oleh Kak Sabil, pendongeng cilik ternama dari Kampung Dongeng.
Kak Sabil, with his interactive speaking style and accessories, delivered an Islamic story with the theme of Prophet Muhammad SAW very well. The event continued with a nasheed performance competition, where the Kindergarten students performed various Islamic children's songs according to their class. The students performed in front of their teachers and fellow students with enthusiasm, accompanied by small movements that had been practiced by their class teachers beforehand. The diverse performances amazed the judges, who deliberated seriously on the results. After the discussion, the winners were called forward to receive their gift prizes. The event was closed with a group photo with Kak Sabil, followed by snack time and the closing of the event.
