In order to preserve a school year, Semesta PGKG supported Kindergarten-B students in recording life experiences during their time at Semesta Kindergarten in a Yearbook. Kindergarten-B students including school workforces were involved in the 2024/2025 academic yearbook forging. This aims to allow students to reminisce important moments from their preschool or early childhood period which frequently brought bliss and joy to their entity. By featuring all teachers and staff who have contributed to their kindergarten background, students are suggested to be able to strengthen their bonds, recognize school’s identity, and foster a deeper sense of intimacy with the entire involved forces in the following life stage.
Secara garis besar, Yearbook tahun ajaran 2024/2025 mengusung tema playground To a great extent, the 2024/2025 academic Yearbook adopts a playground concept to represent the children's world of playing. However, the photoshoots were conducted in multiple sessions and locations. Additionally, various school activities are featured in the Yearbook. During each session, the photographer captured different photographs and recordings to effectively illustrate the school's activities.
During the first session in 25th January 2025, a photoshoot was conducted to shoot various extracurricular activities, including Ballet, Drawing, Fun English, Qiroati, Dancing, Fun Montessori, Singing, Fun Science, Taekwondo, Paper Quilling and Origami, Robotics, and Violin. The children also participated in classroom activities while being photographed in their school uniforms afterwards. Those activities included decorating cakes, making mosaic beans, decorating fish-shaped clay, and conducting a balloon experiment. The photoshoot aims to uphold memorable moments of the children’s school experiences. Carrying this forward, session for teachers and staff came about. They were photographed in pastel-colored wearings after the children's photoshoot was completed for the day.
The second photoshoot was managed at Funtopia, Queen City Mall in Semarang, in 16th January 2025. The students wore casual clothing for playing in a playground. The purpose of this photoshoot is to represent children’s world of childhood. The final session took place in 22nd January, in which the children were captured in their five daily school uniforms. The photographs were taken with several props and learning creations of students. This was intended to help the children in identifying and connecting themselves with Semesta PGKG.
The Yearbook for the 2024/2025 academic year was produced without any notable obstacles. Through the Yearbook, students are expected to be able to maintain solidarity, preserve memories, cultivate a love for the school, and develop a greater appreciation for every phase of life. As Andy Warhol once said, "The best thing about a picture is that it never changes, even when the people in it do." Therefore, the Yearbook was created in order to make students could revisit a time captured in frames without altering anything within it. []
